WHO IS DR. COLIN?
DPT, COACH, CREATOR OF FLOLYFE
Dr. Colin is a hybrid Functional Fitness Coach & Physical Therapist. After finishing his career as a collegiate athlete, he entered the fitness industry and has spent every day since dedicated to improving the lives of busy professionals and business owners. He graduated from DPT school in 2022 with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy, which he's since used to help promote both injury rehab and injury prevention with those he works with. He is happily married with two kids, runs multiple businesses, and loves to surf, wakeboard, and hit the beach with his family. He specializes in improving mobility, functional fitness, nutrition, and developing habits that will last a lifetime.

WHERE IT ALL STARTED
A former D2 Track & Field athlete turned Doctor of Physical Therapy and Functional Fitness Coach, I created the FLOLYFE brand with one simple goal in mind: to help people adopt the mindset of a "Functional Athlete" in their own lives so that they have the confidence to handle whatever life throws their way.
Having been a high-level multi-sport athlete my entire life, I fell in love with the confidence that came with being active and training hard at an early age. I realized this after finishing up my time as a collegiate track and field pole vaulter, when I had to find something else to direct my energy towards. A new mission and a new purpose.
This is when I discovered Functional Fitness.
THE PANDEMIC
WHERE IT ALL STARTED
After spending several years as a group functional fitness coach and personal trainer, I started FLOLYFE Fitness at the break of the COVID-19 pandemic. At the time, I was in the middle of getting my Doctorate in Physical Therapy and was purely trying to inspire others to train at home and maintain a positive attitude through such a difficult time.
In the process, I absolutely fell in love with sharing my passion for movement and developing healthy, sustainable lifestyle habits with others online.
Now it is my mission to help as many people as humanly possible discover their inner Functional Athlete and find freedom through fitness.

Whether you are working with me 1-on-1 in the FLO Training Academy or utilizing one of my other programs, everything under the FLOLYFE Fitness Co. umbrella is created with intention and special attention to design to help you get the most out of your body. I use my extensive background as a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Certified Functional Strength Coach, and Pain Free Performance Specialist, along with countless hours of functional group fitness coaching, PT clinical experience, and 1-on-1 personal training, to develop each of our products to maximize results.
Ultimately, my hope is that you will find the guidance, structure, and accountability you need to achieve long-term success with your health and fitness. This is not about me or any "secret sauce" that I have discovered. It is about you. And about making a greater impact in this world so that we can leave it better than we found it.
